Join us this summer for some meaningful times of sharing!
Our worship services will start at 10am, alternating between our indoor sanctuary and the outdoor one in the back field. Check our calendar for exact dates. Our Summer worship series is "What we have seen with our eyes", and we will hear various HMCers reflect on how they have encountered God through the visual art pieces in our hymnal, Voices Together. We will also sing and pray together like we always do. Click here to learn more about the art, or visit the original pieces at the Conrad Grebel University College Gallery until August 19.
Indoor Services will continue to be masked through the summer. For Outdoor Services, masks are not required. If you feel at all unwell, you are welcome to join us online (Contact for access). We ask that only people with mobility issues use our parking lot during our outdoor services. There is lots of nearby street parking.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas etc., to make your household comfortable for outdoor services and...
Every Sunday from July 3-September 4, we plan to have a potluck lunch after the service, and we can't wait to eat together again. We will eat outside unless the weather pushes us inside. Besides a chair or blanket to sit on, also bring your own dishes & cutlery and some food to share (if you prefer to bring your own personal lunch rather than potluck, that's fine too). Reach out to Fellowship Committee if you can help host our potlucks, or email the HMC office if you have any questions.
This summer, Pastor Alissa is attending the assemblies of Mennonite World Conference in Indonesia and Mennonite Church Canada in Edmonton, and she looks forward to sharing all about it.
